Demographic profile

There were a total of 3,52,728 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Bheemili Assembly election, of which 1,73,712 were male, 1,78,999 female and 17 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 3,07,144 registered voters, of which 1,73,712 were male, 1,53,827 female and 19 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 2,81,799 registered voters in this constituency, of which 1,40,582 were male, 1,41,195 female and 22 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 2,23,150 which included 1,09,963 male, and 1,13,187 female.

The number of service voters in Bheemili Assembly constituency was 1,186 in 2019, 459 in 2014 and 453 in 2009.

In the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Muttamsetti Srinivasarao (Avanthi Srinivas) of YSRCP won in this constituency beating Sabbam Hari of TDP by a margin of 9,712 votes which was 4.22% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ganta Srinivasa Rao of TDP was the winner in this seat beating Karri Sita Ramu of YSRCP by a margin of 37,226 votes which was 17.57% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao (Avanthi Sirnu) of PRAP won this seat defeating Anjaneya Raju N R of TDP by a margin of 6,310 votes which was 3.58% of the total votes polled for the seat.
