Other Andhra Pradesh Assembly constituencies adjacent to Chintalapudi are: Polavaram (ST), Gopalapuram (SC), Denduluru, Nuzvid. This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Telangana.

Demographic profile

There were a total of 2,71,569 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election, of which 1,33,810 were male, 1,37,718 female and 41 of the third gender. In the 2019 Assembly elections, there were a total of 2,63,398 registered voters, of which 1,33,810 were male, 1,32,514 female and 44 of the third gender. In 2014 elections, there were a total of 2,40,021 registered voters in this constituency, of which 1,19,488 were male, 1,20,511 female and 22 of the third gender. In the 2009 polls, the number of total electors was 2,12,001 which included 1,05,097 male, and 1,06,904 female.

In the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections, Vunnamatla Rakada Eliza of YSRCP won in this constituency beating Karra Rajarao of TDP by a margin of 36,175 votes which was 16.73% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Peethala Sujatha of TDP was the winner in this seat beating Burla Devi Priya of YSRCP by a margin of 15,164 votes which was 7.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Maddala Rajesh Kumar of INC won this seat defeating Karra Raja Rao of TDP by a margin of 1,417 votes which was 0.8% of the total votes polled for the seat.
