In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Mohammad Israil Mansuri of RJD won in this constituency beating Ajit Kumar of IND by a margin of 10314 votes which was 5.26% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Ashok Kumar Choudhary (Sadatpur) of IND was the winner in this seat beating Ajit Kumar of HAMS by a margin of 9275 votes which was 5.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Ajit Kumar of JDU won this seat defeating Md. Israil of RJD by a margin of 8415 votes which was 6.75% of the total votes polled for the seat.
