Maithili Thakur

Born on July 25, 2000, in Madhubani, Thakur is an acclaimed Indian classical and folk singer who rose to prominence through her soulful renditions of traditional songs. Thakur was trained in Maithili folk and Hindustani classical music, harmonium and tabla by her grandfather and father from a young age. She is BJP’s youngest candidate and is fighting the election from the Alinagar constituency, which is part of the Darbhanga district of Bihar.
