In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Subash Singh of BJP won in this constituency beating Anirudh Prasad Alias Sadhu Yadav of BSP by a margin of 36752 votes which was 20.55% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Subash Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Reyajul Haque Alias " Raju" of RJD by a margin of 5074 votes which was 2.94% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Subas Singh of BJP won this seat defeating Reyazul Haque Alias "Raju" of RJD by a margin of 15893 votes which was 12.48% of the total votes polled for the seat.
