In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Kumar Krishna Mohan Urf Suday Yadav of RJD won in this constituency beating Krishannandan Prasad Verma of JDU by a margin of 33902 votes which was 21.25% of the total votes cast. In 2015, Mundrika Singh Yadav of RJD was the winner in this seat beating Praveen Kumar of BLSP by a margin of 30321 votes which was 20.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2010 Assembly elections, Abhiram Sharma of JDU won this seat defeating Sachchita Nand Yadav of RJD by a margin of 8567 votes which was 7.75% of the total votes polled for the seat.
